Aurora Costache

School Director, Casa Program Directress, & MSM Founder

Aurora moved to Iowa from Canada in 2013. She has been married to her husband, Christian, for over 20 years and together they have four children and a small toy poodle.

She received her AMS and MACTE accredited 3-6 diploma through Lakeview Montessori School’s training center in Windsor, Canada where she also worked. She later went on to receive accredited training to teach children with learning differences from Shelton Montessori in Dallas and training for the 0-3 age group through CGMS.

Upon moving to Japan, Aurora was able to use her Montessori education in different capacities. She organized a mom and baby Montessori group, taught private English lessons using Montessori methods, and worked in a Japanese preschool teaching English with a Montessori philosophy. When her family moved to Italy, she was able to again make use of her Montessori skills by leading a mom and toddler group.

Currently, Aurora is earning her AMS and MACTE accredited diploma for Montessori at the elementary school level (6-9 years old) from Khalsa Montessori in Tucson, Arizona. She looks to using her training at MSM.

Aurora is excited about MSM’s vision and pleased to offer each student and family a pure Montessori environment with a wealth of international flair and years of experience.

Sixteen years ago when I discovered Montessori, I felt as if I had found a gold mine. It’s the best-kept secret about education. It’s revolutionary!
